THE
SUPER E-SAC
The Super E-Sac is similar in design to the E-Sac, but with the addition
of nitinol superelastic wire incorporated in a sleeve which opens
the mouth of the sac. The wire also acts as a drawstring to close
the mouth at the end of the procedure.
The Super E-Sac is ideal for operations requiring a larger capacity
for organ removal including:
¡E Malignant or large spleen
¡E Larger kidney
¡E Large ovarian tumours
The Super E-Sac features an "apron" which extends from
one side of the mouth that provides a convenient location to place
the specimen before manoeuvring it into the sac. This is a valuable
feature in operations where there is limited space.
The Super E-Sacs come in different sizes with capacities of 1-3
litres and are deployed with 5mm instruments.
